July 29, 2026 - Open Access Materials Have Been Removed

The Open Access option has been removed. It exposed a course's learning materials on the public description page, before anyone registered, and was linked from series reminder emails.

If you used Open Access to let people preview materials, you'll want to move that content somewhere else — a course announcement, or a free registration type that gates access behind a sign-up.

Nothing changes for registered learners. Everyone who has registered for a course reaches their materials exactly as before.
