UANs & Live Dates
Entering a UAN pulls the activity down from CPE Monitor. Live dates come with it — here's how the right one gets chosen, and what to do when it doesn't.
Entering a UAN
On a credit with an ACPE accreditation attached, set the Activity Type and enter the ACPE UAN. LecturePanda fetches that activity from CPE Monitor and fills the credit in for you:

The credit is built from the record ACPE already holds, so the two can't disagree — no retyping an activity title or transposing a credit-hour value, and nothing to reconcile at audit time.
The refresh icon in the UAN field re-pulls that data at any time, which is what you want after changing something in ACPE.
Live dates
Where they come from
Live dates are pulled directly from ACPE. A single UAN can carry a whole list of them, because the same activity can be offered on many dates. LecturePanda doesn't know which one belongs to this particular course, so it makes an informed guess.
How the auto-fill works
- The system looks at the lecture's start and end times on the Details tab
- It looks for a live date on the UAN that falls inside that range
- If it finds one, it fills it in automatically
- If none of the dates fall in that range, it leaves the field blank for you to choose from the list
That's the whole rule — whether a date auto-fills depends entirely on whether one exists inside your lecture's date range.
"It used to auto-fill and now it doesn't"
Check the lecture's date range first. This is the most common cause, and it shows up constantly with multi-day conferences.
If your meeting runs August 7–9 but the lecture's end date is set to August 7, then live dates on the 8th and 9th sit outside the window and can never auto-select. It feels like the feature broke, when the date range simply doesn't cover the whole event.
The fix: widen the start and end dates on the Details tab so they span the full event, and auto-fill works again. Dates you already selected by hand are correct and don't need redoing.
The "Double Check Live Date" warning
When you pick a live date manually, it is usually outside the lecture's date range — if exactly one date inside the range existed, it would have auto-filled. So the warning fires.
It's a soft warning, not a block. Sometimes a date outside the range is entirely intentional; we flag it in case it isn't.
A date shows as VOID
Usually one of two things:
- The course was copied. The copy pulled in a date matching a previous offering that's no longer valid.
- The date was removed or voided in ACPE.
Either way, delete it or select a valid date in its place.
Newly added dates in ACPE
If a live date was added to the UAN in ACPE after you set up the course, use the refresh button in LecturePanda to re-pull the latest dates from ACPE.
The submission window
ACPE's submission window runs per credit, timed from that credit's own activity date rather than from when a learner finishes your program. For a single course or a conference held over a few days, that's rarely something you have to think about. For a program that runs for months, it shapes how you build.

Recovering a late credit
If a learner has missed a window on an existing program, ACPE can grant a late-submission exception on appeal (usually with a fee). Once approved, upload the credit through your CPE Monitor provider tool.
